The fruits of Ukodhiko and the reward thereof ~ Truth Reporters

In a contemporary world, it has become very imperative to know that regardless of the magnitude of pretence cunningly displayed by men, "good and bad attitude" exhibited, often times, are moral factors for determining every genuine profession and confession of men as it were.

These moral evaluations in our political and social cultural environment, most times overtly or covertly evokes physical manifestation of actions and inactions of key players. Interestingly, in this context, it is obligatory to align with the phrase: "when you see something good, you equally say something good about it."

In spite of that, I am not unmindful of the fact that, some persons will misconstrue this script, vis-a-vis the actions and potent value added to humanity, by way of having a preconceived notion about the native delineation of the person in reference.

Isoko Development Union (IDU) is an institution. It is a pan Isoko social cultural group that holds every Isoko sons/daughters together, home and abroad. Her composition was founded uniquely to encompass the Community President Generals, Isoko Branches Council, Youths, Women and the Traditional Rulers. Not exclusive of the office of the national executives evenly distributed within the 23 Clans in Isoko Nation.

Truth be told, IDU has needs, challenges and enormous responsibilities, just like other Nationalities. IDU is not an institution where money is generated, and no social-cultural or government institution can function optimally without steady financial pedigree to painstakingly defray running cost of workers saddled with herculean task within.

Most importantly, unlike other nationalities, stakeholders commitment to funding the institution had had a torrential decline either from communities who do not meet up their financial obligation or others with demonstrated low level patronage. This being the case, there is always time for everything in life. Behold a man God sent as ANGEL interventionist called Pastor Jonathan Ukodhiko, to salvage the system. Ukodhiko was never coarced into accepting this huge Isoko task till date. A man personally convinced about the progress of Isoko, defraying the monthly wage bill should be commended and so rewarded concurrently. No doubt, this has come as a relief not just for the exco, but the workers who are sure of earning their labour wage. In all, this simply shows that, it is morally wrong to have a poor judgment identifying a tree specie from a distance. You move close first.

A dime genuinely doled out at the point of need is strategic and heavenly celebrated. Ukodhiko has wilfully accepted the workers wage responsibility, and had consistently defrayed bills for the past 11 months, and still counting.

I came into IDU leadership less than two years ago, but I am aware that, my tenure is gradually winding-up. Even so, IDU will remain. Do not yank-off my neck because the truth is told. I have carefully listened and read Ukodhiko's manifesto/speech, wherein he has unequivocally maintained: "I will not take critical decisions on Isoko development without cross-fertilization of ideas and robust consultations with leaders." It is true that, consistency ultimately depicts the true character of a man, and not immediate words gratification, as authored and professed by Jubilant Igelige JP, and this impressively highly respected statements of his are not exceptional.

Going forward, this commendation is discreet. It has no business with politics, but the heart. It has no South and North or native coloration. There is no doubt, this hidden cultural and leadership responsibility had crystalized into an acceptable support, or rather the magic wand that broke the camel's back. Good memories, as well as wowing attitudinal commitment requires sharing either for emulation or sincere appreciation. 

Conclusively, this is the first time IDU as an institution availed herself the opportunity of being led by a Professor, a man whose strategic intelligence is mesmerizing, taking ISOKO NATION to the front burner among comity of ethnic Nationalities. This information of financial responsibility of one man is firstborn knowledge to the reading public, and it should be seen as my sincere tribute to Ukodhiko's integrity and ingenuity. I need to balance the diet. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING GOOD, SAY SOMETHING GOOD. We can not reserve goodwill messages and eulogy for only the dead." This style needs urgent reversal because we need leaders in love with humanity. All things considered, Ukodhiko is gradually defining the future. He sure deserves a reward. WHAT MANNER OF MAN IS UKODHIKO? "...Only the truth can heal the wound."
