Okowa’s footprints in Delta and the Nigeria reciprocity ~ Truth Reporters

If possible that the Delta state Governor, Sen Dr Ifeanyi Okowa should be given the mantle of Vice President of Nigeria without election being held, nobody would be shocked because his uncommon transformation and uncompromised quantum of developmental strides in Delta state is tantamount to any political office as long as Nigeria is concerned. 

Judging by the spate of human capital development in the state and how his administration has incurred incomparable social, political and economic growth in all nook and cranny of Delta state, one would understand why the title' Ekwueme' was given to him in the first place. 

The fact that Senator Okowa has done impressively well in Delta is not a mirage, neither a mere charade geared towards scoring cheap political gains, but as it stands, his developmental milestones stands tall and all that he has done can only be equated to a leader who truly comprehend the importance of good governance and tenets of democracy. 

Governor Okowa is non comparable in as much as Road construction is concerned in the whole of South South, and being that overtime he has remained keen and consistent to his line of duty which is to making sure that Delta becomes a safe haven for economic sustainability, all his good deeds especially in the aspect of standard road construction has earned him the sobriquet 'Road Master'. 

Ostensibly, everyone could attest to the generosity and lavishing lifestyle of the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa's administration in terms of spending enormously on people oriented projects, youth empowerment programmes and schemes capable of attracting investors to the state in all walks of life. 

His flare for human capital development is second to none as he is determined to chasing a just course which is to unravel the necessity of being a Deltan and the possible reason people outside the state would be proud to visit and feel the touch of the development embedded by his administration. 

For clarity of doubt, listed below are some of the recent projects embarked upon by the present administration of Governor Okowa, which obviously depicts some being completed and some ongoing. 

The projects are Efurrun-Otor-Ovwor-Olomu Road and Bridge; New Sapele Road; Jesse Access Road; Owa-Eke-Owa-Alero road; Orerokpe-Oha-Ovore Road and Bridge; Kwale-Ogume-Amai-Obiaruku Road; Okpare-Umolo-Ovwodokpokpor-Kiagbodo Road and the 20.1km Obotobou 1-Obotobou II-Sekebolou-Yokri Road in the creeks of Burutu Local Government Area. 

Others include Agbarha-Orherhe Road and Bridge; Otu-Jeremi-Okwagbe Road; Nsukwa-Ejeme-Aniogor-Agbor-Alidimma-Owa-Alidimma Road, Ongoing construction of Kwale-Beneku Road and Bridge; Ongoing construction of Trans Warri and Itsekiri Bridge and the Ongoing construction of Sector C Ughelli-Asaba Expressway among others. 

It would be recalled that the aforementioned projects single-handedly embarked upon by Governor Okowa has long be completed and some are still ongoing, which would prompt me to saying that all ongoing projects shall be completed in no distant time. 

However, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa is a man of his words who believes in little words and plenty actions, and that is why all that he has done in Delta state are crystal clear without having to boast of embarking on a project which he has never completed. He does as he said, and that makes him the ' Talk and Do Governor'. 

Being that the Governor has initiated several projects which demands rousing ovation, he has made it a personal interest to reciprocate the kind gesture in the country come 2023, which automatically has begun with his emergence as PDP Vice Presidential Candidate. 

Without gainsaying, Ifeanyi Okowa would do wonders in the whole of Nigeria as the 2023 general elections fast approaches, and by so doing, at first Nigerians should queue behind the PDP and it's Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar which will serve as pathway to unravelling the true dividends of democracy in the country.
