Isoko North PDP rejoices with Okowa on VP ticket ~ Truth Reporters

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Isoko North LGA Chapter has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta on his nomination as Vice-Presidential candidate of the party in the 2023 general elections. 

The party in a statement signed by the Chairman of the LGA Chapter, Prince Godwin Ogorugba, described Governor Okowa as an impeccable leader, dedicated party stalwart and people-friendly governor. 

He noted that despite all the media onslaught and propaganda against the Governor’s emergence, party's candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and leaders of the party still found him worthy to be selected because of his unwavering dedication and passion for the development of the state. 

"On behalf of the LGA Executive, party leaders and the entire membership of our great party in Isoko North Local Government, I congratulate and rejoice with our amiable governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on his emergence as presidential running mate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. 

"Your sterling leadership of the State is an eloquent testimony of the life-changing projects your administration have embarked upon across the state. 

"You have continued to bring honour and goodwill to the state and as your foot soldiers we are very pleased with your rising political profile. 

"As a party we are committed to the ideals of patriotism and commitment which has characterized your leadership over the years. 

"We pledge our unalloyed commitment to the success of this ticket even as we look forward to greater dividends of democracy for Nigerians," Ogorugba stated.
