7th anniversary: UYLA congratulates Okowa, calls for support ~ Truth Reporters

 

The Urhobo Youth Leaders' Association, UYLA has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa on the occasion of his 7th year in office and called on Deltans to support the 'Ekwueme' of Africa. Gov Okowa was sworn-in for a second term on May 29, 2019 after a successful first tenure (2015-2019).

In a congratulatory message by UYLA's President, Chief Anthony Onoriode Ofoni and Secretary, Chief Augustine Ogheneovo Atiti commended Okowa on his laudable achievements so far particularly for ensuring the rotation of the Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP Governorship ticket to Delta Central Senatorial District in line with the party's zoning arrangements for equity, justice fairness, peace and unity.

The statement attributed the success story of Okowa's SMART agenda for a STRONGER DELTA to the Governor’s landmark experience in various administrative positions.

UYLA therefore called on Deltans to massively support  Okowa's administration for the next one year and vote the PDP's Governorship candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori in the 2023 general elections.
