2023: Ukodhiko consults Kpokpogri, envisions Isoko Investment Coy ~ Truth Reporters

A frontline PDP aspirant for the Isoko Federal Constituency, Pastor Engr. Jonathan Ukodhiko on Sunday consulted with former Deputy Commandant, Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, Kaduna, Rear Admiral Chief John Kpokpogri (rtd) with a vision to set Isoko Investment Company if elected.

Speaking at the Warri residence of the former 2015 Gubernatorial aspirant, Ukodhiko said he acknowledged the sagacity and statesmanship of the former Naval Chief as a great leader of Isoko extraction.

According to Ukodhiko, My leader, I am here today to solicit your support for my aspiration to contest the Isoko Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives”

“I am eminently qualified to contest for the position...I think, what Isoko needs right now is a sustained quality representation in Abuja. I am competent, capable to give the Isokonation the needed effective representation.

“I believe in God and I have the fear of God in me. Also, I have the requisite experiences earned from both the public and private sectors and my records of service are there for all to see.”

Engr Ukodhiko stated that, “ my vision is simply to offer quality legislative representation and reposition Isoko nation in mainstream and national politics that will ensure our people of Isoko Federal Constituency benefits from the Nigerian project.

“I have mapped out strategies that will ensure the industrialization of the Isoko nation by encouraging investors and entrepreneurs that will massively invest in Isoko nation by establishing industries and factories that will see to the creation of empowerment and employment opportunities for our teeming people.

“It is very possible to have an Isoko Investment Company like the Odu’a investment companies in the yoruba in western region of Nigeria.

“This initiative is prime in my heart as I am already devising strategies on how to to meet with Isoko sons and daughters who have made it economically to team up and float the Isoko Investment Company that I strongly believe will see to the sustainable economic growth of Isoko Federal constituency," Ukodhiko added.

Responding, Kpokpogri thanked Ukodhiko and his entourage for the visit adding that “Ukodhiko’s humility is impeccable and he will make a good listener to the yearnings of his people“

According to the former Director of Operations, Naval Headquarters, Lagos, Kpokpogri, “Pastor Ukodhiko is an ordained man of God who has regards for people and I believe at this critical moment, the Isoko nation needs a man of vision like Ukodhiko, that will lead, inspire and advance the Isoko Federal Constituency both economically and politically“

The Ethe of Isoko nation, Chief Kpokpogri while warning against the prevalent Pull Him Down syndrome in Isoko advices political actors and the people to always ensure brotherliness in the affairs of the Isoko nation.

Ukodhiko was accompanied on the visit by members of his campaign organization led by the Chairman, Dr Paul Oweh, the Secretary, Chief Odiri Alade, SSA on Political Matters to the State Governor, Hon Mike Ogwah, former Isoko North Council Chairman, Chief Emmanuel Edevor, former Chairman, PDP, Isoko South, Hon Raphael Oderowu.

Others were, SSA on chieftaincy affairs to the State Governor, Dr Peter Emaziye, SSA on Legislative Matters to the State Governor, Hon Richard Isagba, SSA on Project Monitoring to the State Governor, Hon Jaswill Asaba, Councilors, party chieftains amongst others.
