A Senior Political Aide to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon Mike Ogwah has called on delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to vote Engr Jonathan Ukodhiko as the House of Representatives candidate of the party for Isoko Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election.
Ogwah in a press statement issued at his Asaba office on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 also appealed to the delegates to vote for Barrister Bernard Odior as the party’s candidate for the House of Assembly, Isoko North Constituency.
According to him, the task of electing credible candidates of the party for the general election lies with the delegates, adding that, Isoko Federal constituency in general and Isoko North State Constituency in particular need the best brain with good intentions that have the people at heart.
“Our dear party delegates should vote conscience and conviction devoid of clan, nepotism, religious affiliation, considering the importance of patriotism, antecedents, pedigree and most importantly the overall interest of Isoko nation as they vote for the best candidates who are genuinely desirous of interest addressing the socio-economic and political challenges bedeviling our ethnic nationality.
“Both Ukodhiko and Odior are known for constructive political engagements and they have been in the vanguard of making the lives of our Isoko people better.
“In their respective endeavors in engineering and legal practice, they have championed our aspirations and I strongly believe they will redefine legislative representation for the collective good of our people in Isoko.”
Ogwah who is the Director-General of the Odior Campaign Organization urged “the delegates to vote both men for the consolidation of the socio-economic and political development of Isoko,” he added.
