Stronger Delta: Warri North hosts state campaign against drug abuse ~ Truth Reporters

 

Warri North LGA yesterday took its turn to receive the Campaign Against Drug Abuse Train led by the SSA to Gov. Of Delta State on Social Works Hon. Mrs Pally Eghove on the 1st of February, 2022. 

The team was highly welcome and had a very interactive session with the audience once again.

The Council Chairman, Hon Smart Asekutu was eminently represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Solomon Nikie.

Stakeholders present to fully throw their weight behind the Campaign was The SLG – Samuel Meyiwa Khali,  The leader legislative arm Hon Jeyema Johnbull Urunmatsoma and councillors of the LGA., Adebisi Adewale of NDLEA area commander of Sapele area command, Mr Samuel Campbell - resource person for the campaign. Eminent resource person of the day was no other than a legal luminary - Chief justice Cleaver U. Daniels.

The LGA witnessed a cross section of youths, women and students from Schools Drug free Clubs of a very lively question and answer session on drug abuse.

The DRUG CONTROL VANGUARDS of the LGA were also inaugurated.
