Isoko North 1st lady, partners Ajogwa-Eyana Foundation, visits orphanage ~ Truth Reporters









The wife of the Chairman, Isoko North Local Government Council, Mrs Gloria Iteire has began her first public engagement by putting smiles on the faces of vulnerable children in Isoko North Local Government Area.

Mrs Iteire's reaching out to the needy in order to alleviate their plights marks a novel phenomenon in the history of local government administration in Isoko North.

In partnership with Ajogwa-Eyana Foundation of Isoko Nation headed by Hon Princess Abigail Elo, Mrs Iteire visited Aruka Peace Foundation International Orphanage and Home for Vulnerable Children at Ozoro on Friday, April 16, 2021 where they gave out food items, cash, toiletries, amongst others.

Speaking while delivering the provision of food items, Mrs Gloria Iteire said she and members of her delegation were moved by the traumatising experience of orphaned children living without parental care and love, good food thus the need to reach out them, assuring of more visitations by her team.

Speaking further, the wife of the Isoko North council boss implored Nigerians to involve in humanitarian course by helping the vulnerable children closer to them, stating that every child is in dire need of protection, guidance provision, thus everyone should be concerned about wellbeing of children, most especially orphans.

Also speaking, Princess Abigail Elo, the president of Ajogwa-Eyana Foundation of Isoko Nation commended the humanitarian outrage of Mrs Iteire and promised to continue to support and work with the wife of the chairman in order to alleviate the suffering of the vulnerable children in Isoko North Local Government Area.

The vulnerable children who could not hide their joy sang praises to God, and offered prayers of blessings for the wife of the Isoko North local government Chairman, Princess Elo, the serving female councilors.

Mrs Iteire was accompanied by the leader of Isoko North Legislative Arm, Hon Francis Udubra, the three serving female councillors, Honourables Ofabor Audrey Onoriode, Gladys Otugwo, Blessing Monday, Hon Edna Eboh ex officio, PDP, Isoko North and Mrs Priscilla Afemari, Women leader, PDP Isoko North
