Ogeah commiserates with Okowa on father's death ~ Truth Reporters

A former Commissioner for Information in Delta State, Chike Ogeah Esq, has commiserated with the Governor of Delta, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, over the passing of his father, Sir Arthur Okorie Okowa.

In a message to the governor, Ogeah recalled that as a teacher of many years at different levels, Pa Okowa impacted on the lives and careers of many people.

As an advocate of discipline in child upbringing, Ogeah noted that the result of his devotion to education is aptly demonstrated in his raising a generation of successful and well-groomed children with the governor who had the distinction of qualifying as a medical doctor at the young age of 24 years as the leading light.

"Papa Okowa lived an exemplary Christian life, a virtue he passed on to his children. He was a father, councilor and mentor to all that had the privilege of coming in contact with him.

"At 88 years, Sir Arthur lived a fulfilled life and the challenge for all is to imbibe his virtues of communal service, devotion to God and love for education", Ogeah stated.

The former commissioner prayed for the repose of his soul in God's paradise.

He also prayed for the Almighty to give Governor Okowa, his family and siblings the grace and fortitude to bear the loss.
