COVID-19: Respite as Delta records massive drop in COVID-19 infections ~ Truth Reporters

Respite has come the way of Delta State, as the state's active cases dropped to 90 on Monday.

In the figures released by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Delta recorded 10 new cases bringing the total confirmed cases to 1520 while succesfully treated and discharged patients stood at 1,387 and 43 fatalities have so far been recorded on account of the pandemic.

The State Ministry of Health confirmed the figures in their latest report.

The state ranks 7th among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo, Rivers and Kano states. The state has so far carried out tests on 6,823 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.
