Nigeria's COVID-19 cases now 29,286 as Delta records 58 new infections ~ Truth Reporters

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, said the country recorded 575 new Coronavirus infections on Monday, bringing total cases to 29,286.

The Public Health Agency also said 11,828 patients have been discharged after treatment in 35 states and Abuja, the FCT, adding that 654 deaths have been recorded across the country on account of the virus.

According to the NCDC report, Lagos was highest with 123 cases; FCT, 100; Delta, 58; Edo, 52; Ogun, 42; Katsina, 24; Bayelsa, 23; and Rivers, 22.

Others are Borno – 19, Plateau – 18, Ondo – 18, Oyo – 17, Kwara – 15, Osun – 13, Enugu – 9, Nasarawa – 7, Abia – 6, Cross River – 5, Kaduna – 3, Ekiti – 1.

With the 58 new cases, Delta now have a total of 1276 confirmed cases.
