Eid-el-Kabir: Osanebi felicitates with Muslims, sues for tolerance, peace ~ Truth Reporters

The Member representing Ndokwa East State constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi has felicitated with Nigerian and Delta Muslim faithful and friends, on the occasion of this year’s celebration of Eid-el-Kabir; calling for tolerance and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.

Osanebi made the call on Friday, in Asaba, while rejoicing with his friends and colleagues of the Muslim faith.

He noted that the essence and central message of Eid-el-Kabir celebration is sacrifice, and that Nigerians and Muslims across the globe should emulate the Prophet Ibrahim to be willing in sacrificing treasures, especially for peace and stability in Nigeria.

The former Deputy Speaker in the statement signed by his Media Assistant, Agbanashi Obinne, further charged Muslim faithful and Nigerians at large to remain steadfast in their prayers to God to heal the land of COVID-19.

“While we celebrate with our brothers, I want to urge us all to continue to make sacrifices that will consolidate on government’s huge investment in peace and security, as we continue to love and tolerate each other”, Osanebi said.

“ We must consciously make sacrifices of love and tolerance for the sake of peace and development across our nation”, the statement added in parts.

“I therefore, on behalf of my wife, my family and the entire Ndokwa East State constituency of Delta State, salute and rejoice with our Muslim brothers, wishing them a peaceful, purposeful and impactful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.”
