COVID-19: Delta discharges 1,338, active cases now 93 ~ Truth Reporters

Delta State has so far discharged a total of 1338 patients successfully treated from COVID-19 with total confirmed cases standing at 1473

The State active cases also dropped significantly to 93 just as 9 new cases were recorded yesterday.

The State Ministry of Health confirmed the figures in their latest report.

The state has continued to discharge more patients successfully treated signalling the fact that the State is already flattening the curve.

The state now ranks 7th among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo, Rivers and Kano states. The state has so far carried out tests on 6,336 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.

The state also lost 42 patients on account of the pandemic.
